防盗门/厉剑童
　　
　　小赵、小王是对门邻居。两家的门都是很普通的木门。两人很要好，像亲兄弟一般。
　　这天，小赵从外边回来，突然发觉哪儿不对劲，一瞅原来对门不知何时安了防盗门。看着防盗门，小赵沉思良久。当天，小赵也安了防盗门。
　　第二天，小赵想找小王下棋，可手刚触到对门那道冰冷的防盗门，小赵愣了片刻，摇摇头，苦笑着，转身回去了。
　　晚上，小王想找小赵喝上口，到了对门门口，手刚触到那道冰冷的防盗门，愣了片刻，苦笑着，摇摇头，回去了。
　　星期天，小赵在家看电视，突然听到对门有人开门搬东西，那人小赵从没见过，刚想去问问，可转念一想，还是别多管闲事的好。小赵站起又坐下。
　　第二天，小赵得知对门家被盗，后悔得肠子都青了。
　　隔一个星期天，小王在家看电视，突然听到对门有人开门搬东西，那人小王从没见过，刚想去问问，可转念一想，还是别多管闲事的好，小王于是站起又坐下。
　　第二天，小王得知对门家被盗，沉默了老半天。
　　这天，小赵、小王在楼道里相遇了。两人你看着我家被破坏的防盗门，我看着你家被破坏的防盗门，心里都不是滋味。
　　当天，小赵拆除了自家的防盗门，小王家的防盗门也拆了。两人又像以前那样相互走动，下棋、喝酒，奇怪的是，两家再也没发生被盗事件。

　　Xiao Zhao and Xiao Wang lived in opposite apartments, both of which had the most usual plank doors. They got on very well, just like good brothers.
　　One day Xiao Zhao was coming home when suddenly he sensed something wrong. A new security door had been installed to the opposite apartment. Facing it, Xiao Zhao pondered for quite a while. Then he had equally had a security door installed.
　　The following day, Xiao Zhao was going to play chess with Xiao Wang. As soon as his hand touched the ice-cold security door, he hesitated a moment, shaking his head with a bitter smile, then turned back.
　　When evening came, Xiao Wang hoped for a drink with Xiao Zhao. As soon as his hand touched the ice-cold security door, he hesitated a moment, shaking his head with a bitter smile, then turned back.
　　It was Sunday. Xiao Zhao was watching TV at home when he suddenly heard someone moving things out of the opposite apartment. Never before had Xiao Zhao seen this person. Standing up, he felt like inquiring the stranger, but on second thought he sat down. It was none of his business.
　　The following day, when Xiao Zhao learned that the opposite apartment had been broken into, he burst out an awful regret.
　　Another Sunday, Xiao Wang was watching TV at home when he suddenly heard someone moving things out of the opposite apartment. Never before had Xiao Wang seen this person. Standing up, he felt like inquiring the stranger, but on second thought he sat down. It was none of his business.
　　The following day, when Xiao Wang learned that the opposite apartment had been broken into, he sank down in a long silence.
　　Then Xiao Zhao and Xiao Wang met in the corridor. Looking at the corrupted security doors, they both felt upset.
　　That very day saw Xiao Zhao break down his security door, and Xiao Wang break his as well. The two brothers reverted to frequenting each other’s apartment, playing chess or drinking wine. Most curiously, there had been no more break-ins ever since.
