拒绝的理由/契凡　　
　　
　　小灰兔喜欢上了小白兔。
　　小白兔问小灰兔，你有钱吗？
　　小灰兔摇摇头。
　　小白兔说，你有钱的时候再来找我吧！
　　小灰兔就去给有钱的乌龟打工。
　　乌龟对小灰兔要求很严，说，在我手下干活什么都必须听我的。
　　小灰兔点了点头。
　　乌龟说，你走路要像我们乌龟家族一样爬着。
　　小灰兔说，哦。
　　乌龟说，你说话的时候要像我们乌龟家族一样缩着头。
　　小灰兔说，哦。
　　乌龟说，……
　　小灰兔说，哦。
　　小灰兔在乌龟那里打了三年工，领得很多工资。
　　小灰兔现在有很多钱，小灰兔就去找小白兔了，但小白兔还是拒绝了它。
　　小灰兔很伤心。
　　小白兔的朋友们很可怜小灰兔，就去问小白兔，说，小灰兔现在有钱了你怎么还不嫁给它？
　　小白兔说，你看它现在走路说话都像一只乌龟，一点形象都没有，谁想嫁给一只乌龟啊！

　　The grey hare takes a liking to the white hare.
　　“Are you rich?” the white hare asks the grey hare.
　　The grey hare shakes his head.
　　“Then come for me when you get rich.” says the white hare.
　　So the grey hare goes to work for the rich tortoise, who is very strict with the grey hare.
　　“Now that you are working for me, do whatever you are told to.” says the tortoise.
　　The grey hare nods his head.
　　“When you move, crawl as a tortoise does.” says the tortoise.
　　“I see.” says the grey hare.
　　“When you talk, draw back your head as a tortoise does.” says the tortoise.
　　“I see.” says the grey hare.
　　No matter what the tortoise says, “I see” is the grey hare’s answer.
　　For three years the grey hare has been working for the tortoise, thus earning a handsome pay.
　　Now that the grey hare has become rich, he comes for the white hare; however, he is refused again.
　　The grey hare’s heart is broken.
　　“Why not marry him, since the grey hare is rich enough?” Some friends inquire the white hare, showing much sympathy with the grey hare.
　　“Look at the way he moves, and the way he talks. He appears more like a tortoise than a hare. I won’t marry a tortoise!” says the white hare.
