　　县长的公子打回电话，说他在外面犯事了，要钱了事。
　　县长的公子是县长的独生子。县长夫妇膝下只有这么一个儿子。宝贝儿子是娇纵惯了的，儿子要什么，夫妻俩就只能给什么。
　　县长的夫人急得团团转，胡乱中推开了县长睡觉的房门。
　　正好，昨晚县长有应酬，这时候还在家里补瞌睡。
　　县长说：“快，赶快给办公室主任打电话，说我今天生病了。”
　　县长是何等人物。全县人民都盼望着他生病。他生病了，平民能当干部，小官能当大官，商人能发大财，开发商能得到地皮，违法乱纪分子能保太平。
　　没有多久，红包像雪片一样飞来，公子平安回来了。

　　The son of County Mayor called home saying he had been involved in some trouble and only money could straighten it out.
　　The son, being the only child of County Mayor, was extremely spoiled by his parents, both of whom were willing to satisfy his desires whatsoever.
　　The wife was in such a great anxiety that she recklessly pushed open County Mayor’s bedroom.
　　It was the right time. County Mayor was taking a compensatory nap indoors, since he attended a dinner party last night.
　　“Hurry up! Call the office director right now. Just say I’ve fallen sick.” said County Mayor to his wife.
　　What a role County Mayor was! The whole county was looking forward to his falling sick. When County Mayor got sick, civilians would turn out to be officials; junior officials would be promoted to senior officials; businessmen would strike great fortunes; real estate developers would reach their promised lands; law-breakers would be found innocent…
　　Soon after, red packets came like snowflakes and the son of County Mayor was home safe and sound.
