       公司宣布了预裁员名单，阿文名列其中。

       “阿海，你说说，公司创业之初我们就一起打拼，现在公司发达了，却要辞退我们，这他妈不是卸磨杀驴吗？”阿文第一时间找到同事阿海诉苦。

       “公司要裁员咱有啥法子？好在还给两个月时间物色新工作，认命吧。”阿海也是一脸的无奈。

       “主任，我阿文从公司组建就一直在这个岗位上工作，兢兢业业任劳任怨，我没功劳还有苦劳吧？凭什么偏偏裁我？”阿文又找到车间主任阿江伸冤。

       “人挪活，树挪死，裁员是大势所趋，不单单针对你自己，有想法可以理解，凭你的手艺还愁找不到新工作？”阿江耐心劝解道。

       “王总，两个月以后的裁员能不能高抬贵手？阿文他姐姐整天哭哭啼啼和我嘟囔，没法子，只好来求你帮忙……”姐夫阿斌边说边把一个信封推向王总。

       “真是爱莫能助，公司效益不好，裁员也实属无奈，还请刘局理解、支持。”王总推回红包，态度异常坚定。

       奔走了将近一个月，该求的人求了，该托的关系托了，阿文感到精疲力竭。

       事情既然没有转机，干脆就死心吧。阿文一边开始着手物色新工作，一边决心把职责内工作做好。于是，心里渐渐平静了，就像根本没有裁员一样，依旧努力工作着。

       “主任，你找我是结算工资吧？”两个月后的一天，阿文拎着收拾好的物品来见主任。

       “错啦，是给你发上岗聘书！经过这两个月的观察，公司认为你是一位合格的员工，希望你继续留在公司工作。”主任阿江笑着说道。

       “这，这是真的？”

       阿文惊愕地张开嘴，望着聘书竞喜极而泣。

       The company announced the list of layoffs, and Awenwas in the schedule.

       "Ahai,you say, we struggle together with the company from the beginning. Now thecompany is developed, but I will be fired. Is it ungrateful?      

       "Awencomplained to his colleague Ahai.

       "The company will cut jobs. We can do nothingbut to look for another one." Ahai said helplessly.

       "Director, I have been in this position for along time, working hard but fired, why?" Awen found the workshop directorAjiang to complain.

       "There goes a Chinese saying that frequentshifts make a tree dead but a person prosperous. Layoffsare the trend today, not only for you but also for us. I can understand you.You’re a craftsman, and easy to find a new job.” Ajiang explained patiently.

       “President Wang, is itpossible to have a mercy on me? Awen’s sister crying all day, I have no idea tohelp but beg your help…”Brother-in-law Abin said and handed an envelope topresident Mr. Wang.

       "Willing to help but unable to do so. The company benefit isbad, and downsizing is a trend. Please understand and support." Mr. Wangturned the red packet back seriously to Abin, who is a director of a bureau.

       Running for nearly a month, for the people to help,for the relationship to hold, but Awen felt exhausted.

       Now that there was nochange, just to give it up. Awen was looking for a new job, while he determinedto duties within the work. So, his heart gradually calmed down, just like nolayoffs, he still worked hard.

       "Director, are you calling me to clear wage?"

       “No, this is your letter of appointment! After two monthsobservation for your work, now comes the result that you are deserved to havethis job. I hope you will continue to serve. ” Director Ajiang smiled to him.

       "Is it true?"

       It made Awen surprised. He looked at the letterwith happy tears in eyes.
