　　国庆节，张局长给手下的李处长捧场，给他亲戚新开业的娱乐城剪了彩。张局长心知肚明，亲戚只不过是掩人耳目，真正的老板是李处长。
　　这娱乐城集酒店、舞厅、浴池于一身，豪华气派，美女如云。突然，眼前的一位姑娘让张局长久埋心底的那根弦一抖……
　　李处长看在眼里，知他喜欢这位姑娘。偷偷递过眼色，姑娘急忙向前，把张局长拽进了舞池……
　　张局长大悦。梦中无数次紧揽初恋情人秀月的小蛮腰，跳得香汗淋漓……醒来面对黄脸婆无名火便不打一处来。如今好了，老了老了天上又掉下个小秀月，艳福不浅呀！
　　姑娘，叫什么？月牙儿。不好！局长你给取一个？秀月。我娘叫秀月。那叫娇月。
　　从此，张局长和“娇月”在娱乐城天天相会，美不胜收。
　　有局长撑腰，三教九流哪敢来揩油、捣乱。很快，娱乐城日进斗金。当然，流进县“一把手”腰包的数目天知地知和李处长的美若天仙的娇妻知。
　　不久，张局长查出得了“艾滋病”只得离职。处长走马上任，荣升局长。
　　又是月圆之夜，新局长对娇妻说，多亏了有你，我这才不显山不露水荣升局长，张局长还要对我感激涕零。
　　娇妻冷笑，明年县长的乌纱帽戴在你头上稳稳当当。你就等着平步青云吧！

　　On National Day, Mr. Zhang, Director General, was invited by Mr. Li, subordinate of the former, to attend the opening ceremony of an entertainment center, run by some relative of the latter. Mr. Zhang was well aware that this relative was nothing but a cover; the real boss was Mr. Li.
　　Composed of a hotel, a dance hall and a bath pool, the entertainment center was splendid, luxurious and full of beauties. Suddenly a string which had long been buried in the bottom of his heart started vibrating as Mr. Zhang caught sight of a beautiful girl before him.
　　Conscious of what was happening, Mr. Li cast a secret wink at the girl, who in turn volunteered to draw Mr. Zhang into the dance hall.
　　Mr. Zhang was greatly delighted. How many times he had been dreaming of holding his first lover Xiuyue by the tiny waist and dancing until she was sweating sweetly, only irritatedly to see his dark-faced old wife when awakening! Now the fantasy had turned out to be a reality. An old man was holding a young Xiuyue in arms. What a blessing!
　　“What’s your name, girl?” “Yueya’er.” “No good at all. May I give you a new name? How about Xiuyue?” “That’s my mom’s name.” “Allow me to call you Jiaoyue.”
　　Since then, Mr. Zhang had been meeting Jiaoyue at the entertainment center every day, to their greatest joy.
　　Director General being a regular customer, who among people in all walks of life dared gain a petty advantage or make trouble here? Large sums of money were soon flowing into the entertainment center. How much was flowing into the pockets of County’s head? Of course, Heaven and Earth knew it; so did Mrs. Li, who was as beautiful as an angel.
　　Shortly after, Mr. Zhang who had been tested HIV-positive couldn’t but leave office and Mr. Li was promoted to Director General.
　　“I owe my smooth promotion to you while Mr. Zhang is grateful for my consideration.” A full-moon night heard Mr. Li speaking to his wife.
　　“You’ll be promoted to County Mayor next year. Wait and see.” She sneered.
