　　蝴蝶来到整形医院，她要求医生为她整容。
　　医生说：“你已经非常美丽了，简直无可挑剔，用不着整容的。”
　　蝴蝶说：“不，红颜易老，美无止境，我想整得再年轻一点，我要找回昔日的美好时光。”
　　医生说：“其实成熟的美才是最有魅力的……”
　　“不！”蝴蝶打断医生的话：“我说过了，我要再年轻一点。”
　　医生只好同意。
　　手术非常成功。
　　当一层层的绷带被解开，蝴蝶怀着激动的心情接过镜子，突然，她大叫一声晕倒在床上。
　　原来镜子里面竟然是只毛毛虫。
　　
　　Facelift

　　A butterfly came to the plastic surgical hospital and asked for a facelift.
　　“You are perfectly beautiful; you don’t need a facelift.” said the doctor.
　　“You are wrong. A flower tends readily to wither; no beauty is perfect. I’d rather be somewhat younger; I’ll bring back good old days.” said the butterfly.
　　“A mature beauty is charming, indeed, and—” said the doctor.
　　“No!” The butterfly interrupted, “As I said it, I’d rather be somewhat younger.”
　　The doctor couldn’t but agree.
　　The surgery turned out a success.
　　Layers of fascias had been unwrapped as the excited butterfly was handed a glass. “Oh!” With a scream she went off in a faint.
　　There was a caterpillar in the glass.
