　　唐美丽感觉好幸福，真的好幸福！
　　昨天，局长来到唐美丽上班的地方，局长和唐美丽说了很多，临别，局长说：“小唐，要不要我把你调进县城，城里我有一座四十万元的楼房一直闲着……”
　　唐美丽当然明白局长的意思了，刚参加工作就遇到这样的好事谁不乐意。要知道有人在这贫困的乡镇小所一待就是一辈子，什么靓丽青春？什么奋斗目标？什么精彩人生？统统成了过眼烟云。
　　可是今天，唐美丽刚在办公桌前坐下，副县长又来了。副县长是来检查工作的，副县长单独和唐美丽谈了话，“小唐，习惯不习惯乡村工作？”副县长问了许许多多唐美丽的生活问题，唐美丽感觉副县长人真好，真关心人。副县长说了很久才切入正题，“小唐，要不要我把你调进市里？市里我有一座一百二十万元的别墅一直在等待合适的人……”
　　副县长给了唐美丽一个手机号，副县长最后说：“美丽，好好想想，想好了再回话。啊！”
　　副县长走后，幸福的唐美丽做了两个飞翔的舞蹈动作。唐美丽对着镜子，摸着自己漂亮的脸蛋儿想：不能马上答应副县长，说不定明天，明天就会遇到一位副市长？

　　How happy Tang May was feeling! She was happy, indeed.
　　Yesterday Director General dropped in Tang’s humble office and they had a long conversation. “Xiao Tang, would you like to be transferred to County Town? There is a 400,000yuan-worth apartment of mine which remains unoccupied…” said Director General as he departed.
　　Tang May surely understood what Director General had meant. Who else among the newly employed personnel would have refused such a kind offer? The truth was how many people had consumed all their lives in this small office, with precious youth, great ambitions and colorful dreams all gone with the wind!
　　Yet today, hardly had Tang May settled at her desk when a deputy of County Mayor came in. In the name of a professional supervision, the deputy had a private talk with Tang May. “Xiao Tang, are you used to working in the village town?” So many personal questions had the deputy asked that Miss Tang felt him a kind and considerate senior. It was long before the deputy came to his point. “Xiao Tang, would you like to be transferred to City? There is a 1,200,000yuan-worth villa of mine which awaits its worthy owner all the time…”
　　Leaving her his mobile phone number, the deputy finally said, “Well, May, think it over; then give me your answer.”
　　After the deputy’s departure, so happy was Tang May that she tried dancing a couple of manoeuvres like a hovering bird. “No. I can’t give him the answer right now. Isn’t it possible that some deputy of City Mayor should come to me tomorrow?” thought Tang May, looking herself in the mirror, stroking her own pretty cheeks.
