　　小李的伙伴二憨子早年去深圳，后来混得狗模人样。在他走时，小李怎么看二憨子都像混不出来的样子，脑子缺根弦，就是背着干粮出去，也要饿回来。但二憨子后来混好了，人一旦混好了，就容易想起以前的伙伴，这样二憨子就想起小李。
　　刚见到衣冠楚楚的二憨子，小李有点陌生的感觉，等一个饭桌上吃了几顿饭后，等一个歌舞厅里K了几次歌后，以前熟悉的二憨子又回到小李面前。
　　他发现二憨子夹着鳄鱼包去和客户谈业务时的样子，与胳膊里夹着布袋去拾麦穗没什么两样，只不过布袋里盛的是麦穗，皮包里装的是钱。他还发现，二憨子在公司里对着白领们指手画脚的样子，与在村里放羊也没什么两样啊，只不过那时吆喝的是一群羊，现在领导的是上百口白领。这么一比，小李挽回了自信。
　　临送小李去深圳机场的路上，二憨子说，深圳这地方角角落落都是钱，像北李村秋季的落叶一样，回去号召黄河滩的老少爷们来拿耙子耧钱吧，就当给深圳打扫卫生。
　　二憨子的一席话，像一根指挥棒，小李感觉前方的路，一下子被南国的阳光照亮。

　　It is in Shenzhen that Er Han, Xiao Li’s childhood mate, has made his fortune. He went there many years ago. However, Xiao Li had seen no evidence of Er Han’ good luck by that time. It was evident that Er Han was nuts; even with enough food around him, hunger would drive him back home. Yet Er Han has indeed made it. Once he makes it, he readily misses his childhood mate. Er Han is now missing Xiao Li.
　　At the first sight of Er Han in neat suit, Xiao Li feels a bit strange. After meals at the table and songs at a Karaoke Bar, a familiar Er Han is gradually coming back to Xiao Li.
　　Xiao Li discovers that this Er Han, who is dealing with his customers with a briefcase branded CROCODILE in his arm, is not quite different from the one who was picking up wheat spikes with a hop-pocket in his arm. The only difference is that his hop-pocket was filled with wheat spikes while his briefcase is now being filled with paper currencies. Also Xiao Li discovers that this Er Han, who is throwing his weight on the white collars of his company, is quite the same as the one who was taking care of the sheep for our village. The only difference is that he used to cry orders to a flock of sheep while he is now leading hundreds of white collars. With these comparisons, Xiao Li is bringing himself back to confidence.
　　When driving Xiao Li to Shenzhen airport, Er Han says, money is being scattered all corners of this city, like the fallen autumn leaves of North Li Village. When you go back, tell all folks along the Yellow River banks to come here with their rakes. Earning money is just as easy as clearing the city of fallen leaves.
　　Er Han’s words are a beacon, by which Xiao Li’s road ahead is being lighted up.
