　　质检处牛处长手机响了，看到屏上没显示对方号码，他就没接。
　　可手机还是响，他只好摁了一下接收键，问：谁呀？不料是老爹打来的，信号不是太好，可能因为地方比较远吧。
　　老爹说话从不会拐弯抹角，劈头就数落儿子，你转到地下给我的房子质量不行呵。
　　这个……儿子想解释一下。
　　老爹叨唠，我想转租出去挣点钱，没想到，不是倒的倒就是歪的歪了。
　　这个……
　　儿子，你真是习惯成自然了，连你爹也敢骗？你不送我钢筋水泥硬实的房子，我理解。图省钱走纸糊的就走纸糊的呗，但你也得糊结实点，多加几层呵。亏你，还在质检处工作呢。
　　牛处长大声说，请老爹放心，明年清明上坟的时候，送您加厚的。

　　The mobile phone is ringing. Mr. Niu, head of Quality Inspection Department, doesn’t answer it, because there isn’t the caller’s number on the screen.
　　The mobile phone is still ringing. Mr. Niu presses a button. “Who’s that calling?” It turns out to be Old Daddy. The signals are not strong enough; it is rather a long-distance call.
　　“The houses you delivered to me were of poor quality.” Never beating about the bush, Old Daddy starts scolding his son in a straightforward way.
　　“Well…” Mr. Niu means to explain.
　　“I thought I could earn some money by renting them out; but they tended readily to collapse or slant.” Old Daddy continues his nagging.
　　“Well…”
　　“Son, habit is a second nature, I know; but why play a trick on Old Daddy? I understand, you couldn’t buy me houses made of concrete iron and cement; it’s all right you delivered to me the houses made of paper for the sake of economy. But why not paste them firmly with more layers of paper? What a shame for head of Quality Inspection Department!”
　　“Trust me, Old Daddy. Next year, I’ll deliver to your grave thickly pasted houses on Pure Brightness Day.” says Mr. Niu, in a loud voice.
